Shaitaghni is a 2010 film based on a real-life incident that took place off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. The movie was released on the 19th of this month, captivating the audience with its teaser and trailer. Let’s find out how much it impresses the audience!
Story:
Hero Shiva (Abhiram Reddy Dasari) is a taxi driver. Tappa gets drunk at the bar and does the work of unloading them at home. He has a deep love for Bujjamma. Bajjamma (Swati Mandal) is the hero who loves Shiva dearly. Bujjamma also means life to Shiva. Anna does not tolerate anyone. The money mafia gang morphing photos of girls on social media while their lives are going smoothly has a big mafia behind it. Bajjamma takes over the hands of this gang. Bujjamma’s life goes dark as the hit photos of Bujjamma come out on social media. After that Bujjamma disappears. When Bujjamma disappears, Shiva goes in search of her and finds out the real story and sets out to end the gang. And where did Bajjamma go? Who kidnapped the original Bujjamma? That’s the rest of the story.
Cast:
Abhiram’s performance as the hero Shiva is impressive. Especially well done in the emotional scenes. He also excelled in dances and fights. The heroine Swati Mandal was impressed with her good performance. Her glamor and acting in particular were the main highlights. Among the other characters .. Carafe Kancharalapalem fame Subbarao, Kishore, Vizag Dhanraj, Kalyan Krishna, Sunny, Karun Kant, Kola Mahesh, etc. impressed in their respective roles. Especially Hyderabadi Movies fame Gullu Dada appeared in a very pivotal role in this. Bajjamma was impressed with the dialogue ‘I like that name, I love that child’.
Technical Highlights:
The cinematography for the film was by M.D. Rafi’s Camera performance is good. Most of the scenes showed up beautifully. Then another highlight music for this movie. The songs provided by Harsha Praveen are good. RR is also okay. The editing provided by the longer revolution has to do with the work of the scissors in terms of a few more scenes. Some scenes look boring, it would be nice to trim them. The film is based on the realistic theme of director Shiva. Most of the scenes feel realistic. Especially the way the story is run is great. The director tries to bring the chosen story to the screen without compromising anywhere. The production values are good.
Analysis:
The director has interestingly crafted the story of some youngsters who use this technology to commit scams using the tagline ‘Fraud Story by Bad People’ in the context of action, suspense, and crime thriller. Hero Abhiram’s acting, Swati Mandal’s acting, and glamor are the special attraction of this film which is shot with love and emotions. The music and photography are impressive. However, it would be better to take care of the editing. The story chosen by the director, the attempt to bring it to the screen was well done. Those who love suspense thriller movies will love this movie.
